Cancelling an order before we have dispatched it

If you have placed an order that we have not yet dispatched and you wish to cancel it please email us as soon as possible via the contact form and we will cancel the order on your behalf and issue a refund in line with the Refunds Policies stated below. 

Returning Goods for a Refund or an Exchange

If you wish to cancel your order and return an item for either a refund or an exchange please let us know within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods by email on the contact form - Please note that we can only accept goods for a refund or exchange if they were originally ordered through https://woodland-threads.com (“Our Website”).

Please also note that we cannot accept goods that are not in a re-saleable condition or that have been used, or that show signs of excessive handling unless the goods were damaged or faulty when received.  Excessive handling means any more handling than is reasonable required to ascertain the nature and characteristics of the goods in question, for example no more than would be permitted in a shop.Please ensure that you return the goods to us no more than 14 calendar days after the day on which you have informed us that you wish to cancel if you are within the European Union, or within 21 days if you are outside the European Union.Goods are returned at your own cost, unless an item is shown to be faulty when received :

Goods should be returned to us - please email me via the contact form for the needed address. It is UK based so please do not worry!

Please ensure that goods are suitably packed and we recommend that you use a “signed for” service and ensure that the parcel is adequately insured against loss or damage while in transit.

Refunds for Customers inside the European Union

We will issue your refund, excluding the original shipping fees applied to your order, within 14 days of receiving the goods, providing that the returned goods comply with the conditions set out above.If you cancel your order before we have processed or dispatched your order we will issue a refund to you within 14 calendar days from the day on which you inform us via the contact form that you wish to cancel .

Refunds will be made using the same payment method that you used when ordering the goods. Please note that we can only refund monies paid to the person who placed the order in the first instance.If you are returning goods for an exchange please see ‘Arranging An Exchange’ below

Refunds for Customers Outside the European Union

We will issue your refund, excluding the original shipping fees charged and incurred by us when the goods were sent to you, within 14 days of receiving the goods, providing that the returned goods comply with the conditions set out above.If you cancel your order before we have processed or dispatched your order we will refund any shipping charges paid providing we have not already incurred costs booking your order with a courier for delivery.If you are returning goods for an exchange please see ‘Arranging An Exchange’ below

Arranging an Exchange

If you are returning goods for an exchange please notify us by email via the contact form within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods. And return the goods to us as outlined above ‘Returning Goods for a Refund or Exchange’.

When you notify us that you wish to arrange an exchange please state what you would like to exchange the goods for (including product name, size, colour, quantity and any other relevant information).

Providing that the goods requested are available, we will calculate the balance due or owed and confirm this amount to you by email.Where the value of the exchange goods requested and any additional shipping fees that may apply are in excess of the amount paid for the goods being returned we will confirm the balance outstanding and request payment from you.Where the value of the exchange goods requested and any additional shipping fees is lower than that of the goods being returned we will confirm the balance and issue a refund to you within 14 days of receiving the goods that are to be returned as part of the exchange.Once we have received the goods that are being returned we will dispatch the goods that have been requested in exchange providing that: We have received the returned the goods and they comply with the conditions stated above;All outstanding balances on the value of the exchange, including any additional shipping fees, have been settled.

Faulty Goods

We strive to ensure that all of our products are made to the highest standards but if you believe you have received a faulty item from us please let us know as soon as possible: nicola@woodlandscarves.com. We will exchange or refund faulty items providing that any issues are not the result of reasonable wear and tear, inappropriate use of the product, or accidental or deliberate damage out of our control.  Even if an item is faulty you must still return faulty goods to us as we always asses faulty items to help us maintain our high levels of quality.

Please ensure that you return Goods to us no more than 14 calendar days after the day on which you have informed us that you believe an item is faulty.

Please ensure that goods are suitably packed and we recommend that you use a “signed for” service and ensure that the parcel is adequately insured against loss or damage while in transit. We cannot refund or replace goods that are being returned as faulty if they go missing in the post.If you return a faulty item to us and on our inspection we agree that the fault is not due to reasonable wear and tear, inappropriate use of the product or deliberate damage, we will reimburse you for any reasonable shipping costs incurred by you as a result of having to return the item to us. We will also offer to either repair, exchange or refund for the faulty item at our discretion.If having inspected the goods we reasonably believe that the product is not faulty and that any deterioration is due to reasonable wear and tear, or that a fault has been caused by inappropriate use of the product or by deliberate damage we will contact you with a full explanation as to why, and offer to send the item back to you free of charge.

We sincerely hope that we will be able to resolve any potential issues concerning your order directly. All prices shown on our website are in Pounds Sterling (£)We make all reasonable efforts to ensure that all prices shown on Our Website are correct at the time of going online.  We reserve the right to change prices and to add, alter, or remove special offers from time to time and as necessary.  Changes in price will not affect any order that you have already placed. All prices are checked by us when we process your order.  In the unlikely event that we have shown incorrect pricing information, we will contact you in writing before proceeding with your order to inform you of the mistake and to ask you how you wish to proceed.  We will give you the option to purchase the goods at the correct price or to cancel your order (or the affected part thereof).  We will not proceed with processing your order until you respond.  If we do not receive a response from you within 7 days, we will treat your order as cancelled and notify you of the same in writing.In the event that the price of goods you have ordered changes between your order being placed and us processing the order, you will be charged the price shown on Our Website at the time of placing your order.

Availability

We neither represent nor warrant that goods will be available.  Stock indications may be provided on Our Website, however such indications are not updated in real time as our stock levels are affected by orders placed through other channels not linked to Our Website system, for example, orders placed for our goods through third party websites, orders placed by email or telephone, and orders placed by trade customers.If an item that you have ordered is out of stock we will notify you by email.

Delivery Charges - UK

Delivery charges are not included in the price of goods on Our Website.If you are ordering for delivery within the UK, delivery options and related charges will be presented to you as part of the order process. Delivery Charges for International Customers Outside the UK

If you are ordering for delivery outside the UK, delivery options and related charges will be presented to you as part of the order process where available. Where Our Website is not able to provide you with delivery options as part of the online order process (for example because the consignment is particularly large, or because our standard couriers do not deliver to the country specified) shipping charges will not be applied to your order at the time you place it on Our Website. On receipt of your order we will contact you with a confirmed shipping quote and send an electronic invoice for the shipping charges. We will wait for your confirmation on whether to not you wish to proceed and for full payment of the shipping charges before accepting the order. Additional Important notes for International Customers

If goods are being ordered for delivery outside the European Union, import duties and taxes may be incurred once your goods reach their destination. We are not responsible for such charges and We undertake to make no calculations or estimates in this regard.  If you are buying for delivery outside the European Union, you are advised to contact your local customs authorities for further details on costs and procedures.As the purchaser of the goods, you will also be the importer of record and as such should ensure that your purchase is in full compliance with the laws of the country into which the goods are being imported.  Please be aware that goods may be inspected on arrival at port for customs purposes and We cannot guarantee that the packaging of your goods will be free of signs of tampering.  Please also be aware that United Kingdom consumer protection laws may not apply.

Your order and Contract with Woodland Threads UK

When placing an order with Woodland Threads UK. you will be given the opportunity during checkout to review your order and amend it.  Please ensure that you have checked your order carefully before submitting it.Payment for goods and related delivery charges must always be made in advance and you will be prompted to pay during the order process unless you are placing an order for delivery outside the UK in which case shipping charges may be quoted and invoiced separately (see International Shipping for more information). We accept payment by PayPal.Once you have placed your order through Our Website we have a legal obligation to send you a confirmation email that details your order. We do this by sending an automatically generated "Order Summary” email that details the order you have placed and includes the time and date of the order, your name, shipping address, contact details and a list of the goods ordered with details on size, colour and quantity. Receipt of this Order Summary email does not constitute a legally binding Contract between you and Woodland Threads UK. Our Liability to Consumers
